SA Severe Weather Warning: Damaging Winds

For people in Lower Eyre Peninsula, Eastern Eyre Peninsula and parts of West Coast districts.

Issued at 5:00 pm Sunday, 23 May 2021.

Weather Situation: A vigorous northerly airstream developing ahead of a cold front in the west.
Northerly winds will increase overnight, with damaging wind gusts of 90 to 100 km/h possible over the warning area from around sunrise on Monday. Winds may also briefly average 55 to 65 km/h.

Locations which may be affected include Port Lincoln, Ceduna, Wudinna, Elliston, Cleve and Kimba.

The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
