his Watch & Act message is for Campbellfield, Coolaroo, Somerton.

There is a factory fire at Thornycroft st near Foden Ave Campbellfield.
This Watch and Act replaces the Advice message] issued at 0730 hrs
Large volume of Black Smoke is spreading towards
the city
The Fire is not yet under control

Anyone located in Broadmeadows, Pascoe Vale , Coburg should take shelter indoors immediately.
Anyone located in these areas should shelter indoors from the smoke ensuring all exterior doors, windows and vents are turned closed and that heating and cooling systems are turned off.

What you should do:

Close all exterior doors and windows.
Turn off heating and cooling systems are turned off.
Close fireplaces and vents.
You should avoid the warning area.
Keep the roads clear so emergency services can respond.
Bring your pets indoors.
If you are currently driving in the area you should close the windows in your vehicle and turn off the air conditioning.

Impacts in your area:

Emergency Services remain in the area.
Traffic in the area will be affected.
