This Watch & Act message is for South Morang.

There is a factory fire on Findon Road, South Morang.

The fire is not yet under control.

As a result of the fire there is significant smoke in the area.

Anyone located the immediate area should close their windows and doors.
What you should do:
Close all exterior doors and windows.
Turn off heating and cooling systems are turned off.
Close fireplaces and vents.
You should avoid the warning area.
Impacts in your area:
Findon Road is closed to all traffic.
Access to the train station is limited.
This message was issued by Country Fire Authority.

The next update is expected by 19/04/2019 05:10 pm or as the situation changes.

People with heart or lung conditions (including asthma), children, pregnant women and older people are more sensitive to the effects of breathing in smoke.
